A growing spiritual life that is deeply sensitive to God's will and ways strengthens the academic pursuit of theological study. We always encourage our students to develop an intimate, daily walk with God, being filled, led, and empowered by His Spirit, in addition to an academic understanding of biblical truth. Students receive spiritual transformation that is so alive, compelling, and inspiring that it will challenge them to worship and serve God in ways they have never done before.
Service in the Chapel
EBC Chapel services are potent encounters with God. The spiritual life of the college community is nurtured by regular corporate worship with fellow students, faculty, and staff. Every day, a chapel hour is set aside for praise and worship, prayer, intercession, and a sermon by students and faculty. Occasionally, experienced and spiritually motivated Christian leaders and missionaries are invited to share the Word of God.
To empower and motivate students, mission challenges, fasting prayer, whole-night prayer, spiritual emphasis meetings, and talent nights are held.
Sunday Worship
Every Sunday from 6.30 a.m. to 8 a.m., an English worship service is held at the college chapel, and a Malayalam service is held from 9.00 a.m. to 12 a.m.
